Abstract

This study explored the role of race in relations between emotion dysregulation, the autonomic nervous system’s response to stress, and performance. Findings demonstrate that youth of Color don't perform differently from White youth in a stressful task, despite reporting higher emotion dysregulation, and being more impacted by physiological reactivity.
