Time Heals (Most) Wounds: Examining Negative Perceptions of Past Partners

Most people will experience a breakup at least once in their lifetime. The current study analyzed responses from eighty-six individuals who described their ex-partners and details of their breakups. We found that certain groups were more likely to maintain negative perceptions of their ex-partners, despite having entered new relationships.
