Weight and Watching: Using an Eyetracker to Determine If Weight Dissatisfaction Affects Attention

Abstract

We used an eye tracker to determine if women looked at calories on a restaurant style menu. Using the Fallon and Rozin scale, we compared the eye tracker results to the difference between their perceived ideal and current weights. We found that participants did look at calories.
