Comparing the Childcare Outcomes of Low and High Income Federal Employees with Childcare Responsibilities

Abstract

This study compares the childcare outcomes of Federal employees by income levels. Results revealed that low income employees reported lower ratings of childcare arrangement satisfaction, dependability, attentiveness, convenience, affordability, cost expenditures, and higher ratings of agency attraction and retention specific to childcare benefit availability as compared with high income employees.
