Abstract
Results from one-way MANOVAs and ANOVAs revealed that female undergraduate students with a history of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) reported significantly lower intrapersonal emotional intelligence (EI), social support from friends and family, and social connectedness than a comparison group without a history of NSSI. No differences were found for interpersonal EI.
