Abstract

Women and racial minorities are significantly underrepresented in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. One potential explanation is that women and minorities may not be offered equal business opportunities because they do not meet the preconceived notions of an entrepreneur. This study examines the risk-taking-performance relationship across the intersection of gender and race.
