Abstract

This study explored differences among emotional regulation (ER), well-being, perseveration, metacognitive reflection (MR), career decision-making, and vigilance with 495 undergraduate students. Results indicated that participants reporting high, mid, and low ER had varied levels of the aforementioned constructs. Thus, metacognition and emotion must be structurally integrated to achieve optimal outcomes.
