Abstract

Utilizing the Morris Water Maze, it was determined that the prodrug Vyvanse significantly enhanced spatial working memory in Long Evans rats without producing the side effects of typical psychostimulants. Future studies could elucidate possible beneficial effects of prodrugs in the treatment of various cognitive dysfunctions.
