Abstract
We compared the effectiveness of the aggregated Inter-Item Standard Deviation (M-ISD) against 5 other validity indexes in differentiating between conscientious and indiscriminate responders in psychological questionnaire data. In 3 samples of existing NEO-FFI-3 data, the M-ISD outperformed all other validity indexes with an average classification accuracy of 97%.
