Abstract

The resolution of task conflict was found to correlate between the Stroop task and the affordances task. The results illustrate task conflict as a feature of cognitive control that underlies diverse modalities of response (linguistic, visuomotor) and support the validation of the affordances task as a measure of task conflict.
