Residential Mobility Enhances Temporal Discounting in the Loss Framework.

Abstract

Residential mobility rather than stability increased temporal discounting in both China and U.S. individuals. Using a gambling task with ERP recordings, we found that participants primed with mobility than stability exhibited larger difference in feedback-related negativity between present and future loss, but not between present and future gain.
