Abstract

The study examines the association of parental psychological control (PC) and health-risk behaviors and the role of depression and gender. Results indicate that depression partially mediates the impact of maternal PC on drug use, behavioral, and verbal aggression. The mediation effect only applies to behavioral and verbal aggression in women.
