Abstract

When Undergraduate Students and Mental Health Professionals perceived working with clients across gender identifications, we found a significant positive correlation at p<.01 (2-tailed) between competence and comfort, measures of therapeutic bias. No significant correlation was found between both groups of participants when comparing competence and comfort for various gender categories.
