Abstract

Can education dispel sexual myths? Participants completed a sexual myth test before and after completing: a human-sexuality course; a general-psychology course; watching human-sexuality videos; or serving as control subjects. Completing a human-sexuality course or watching human-sexuality videos on a YouTube channel named 5MIweekly, significantly decreased people’s beliefs in sexual myths.
