Abstract

We tested whether self-report measures of skepticism, cynicism, intuitive thinking style, and analytical thinking style predicted paranormal belief in (N=304) college students. We found that skepticism was a significant negative predictor of paranormal belief while cynicism and intuitive thinking style were significant positive predictors, but analytic thinking was not significant.
