Behavior and Experience in a VR Buffet Alters Parents’ Guilt Related to Child Feeding

Abstract

Parents can feel significant guilt related to child feeding, but can alleviate guilt through healthier feeding or by ‘trying harder’ in a virtual reality buffet-based feeding simulation. Alternatively, when unhealthy feeding behavior is salient, they may resolve to do improve behavior in the future.
