The Role of Attention and Eye Contact in Speech after Completing Tasks Varying on Physical and Mental Exertion

Abstract

Expression of language and the amounts of eye contact were compared in individuals to assess whether task difficulty played a role in how individuals reported their performance. Results suggest the types of questions asked during the two interviews and greater physical activities played a role in overall expressive social behaviors.
