Abstract
Individuals seek and receive varied social rewards in their social interactions, ranging from egoistic to altruistic ones. Our findings show that individuals with pro social intentions in treating others fairly, making others happy and feeling emotionally connected with others were more accurate at recognizing others’ emotions in a new measure.
