Abstract

This study assessed human rights advocates’ access to support, workplace culture, negative appraisals, and PTSD symptoms. Results indicated an indirect association between access to support and PTSD through workplace culture and negative appraisals. Findings suggest access to support in human rights organizations may reduce PTSD symptoms when organizations encourage help-seeking.
