Abstract

The current study examined whether Colombian adolescents’ ethnic-racial identity (ERI) buffered the negative effects of discrimination on their academic adjustment at varying socioeconomic status (SES) levels. ERI was positively associated with academic outcomes, but the ways in which ERI moderated links between discrimination and academics varied by SES.
