Abstract
We use socioeconomic status to examine how the background of high school athletes influences their intentions to report concussion symptoms. Results supported our predictions by showing that an athlete’s socioeconomic status significantly predicts intention to report concussion symptoms even while controlling for knowledge, social pressures, age, and sex.
