Abstract

Informed by social dominance theory, this study examined how social class, social dominance orientations, and attitudes towards out-group members were related among Colombian adolescents. Findings from mediational path models showed that higher social class was related to more positive outgroup orientations, which, in turn was associated to lower social dominance.
