Abstract

Traumatic exposure can result in a range of beneficial and pathological outcomes. In a trauma-exposed sample, results of latent profile analysis identified four subgroups based on participants’ endorsements on posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic growth. Preliminary evidence for personality characteristics in each subgroup was also provided.
