Abstract

This study underscored difficulty in emotion regulation (DER) as a moderator for the association of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) with depressive symptoms. The findings carried implications for targeting emotion regulation competence as a means of ameliorating vulnerability to depressive symptoms.
