Neurodiversity and the Use of ART to Facilitate Communicating Emotions; A Preliminary Study

Abstract

This study explored whether art can be used to facilitate communicating emotions among individuals with ASD. The methods used to collect data included; art questionnaires, galvanic skin response, art activity, and interview sessions. The study found that through creating art, individuals with ASD were more likely to communicate their emotions.
