Abstract

This study examined the effects of cognitive tools and task interruptions on perceptions of an ethical problem. An interaction was found between cognitive tools and interruptions. Participants using a cognitive tool, were not derailed by an interruption; they may even exhibit higher confidence in their ability to face the problem.
