Physical Aggression in Older Lesbians and Gay Men

Abstract
We examined the relationships between forgiveness, heterosexism and trauma with anger in older lesbians and gay men. Previous literature reports that anger is associated with PTSD in adults exposed to trauma and suggests PTSD could be a source of anger. Our findings suggest forgiveness may be crucial to reducing anger.
