Abstract

We examined the relationship between paranoia and benefits usually associated with social connectivity. Greater social connectivity was related to lower perceptions of others as rejecting or hostile in those low in paranoia but not for those high in paranoia. Paranoia may interfere with the salutary effect of social relationships.
