Differential Relationship of Racial/Ethnic Identity with Major Depression in Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese Americans

This study investigated differential Association of racial/ethnic identity (REI) with depression in three Asian American subgroups nationwide in the National Latino and Asian American Study database. The results indicate that REI has the opposite associations with depression in Chinese and Filipinos which can be better understand within their cultural contexts.
