Abstract
Factor analyses of the EAT-26 in a non-clinical sample (N = 560) and a sample of eating disorder (ED) patients (N = 160) were conducted across two studies. Four-factor models best fit both sets of data. Correlations between ED diagnoses and factor scales supported factor validity. Diagnostic utility is discussed.
