Abstract

We examined the relationship between mathematics anxiety and fixed mindset effects on mathematical performance through mixed-methods approach. Participants consisted of 48 female students attending a university in a
metropolitan area located on the East Coast. Mathematics anxiety was not statistically significant relating to fixed mindset; however, they were negatively correlated.
