Abstract

Humans’ concerns about the biosphere is based on their egoistic and social altruistic concern (Shultz, 2002). However, little is known about mediation pathways that lead to biospheric concern. Two models were tested. The first predicts egoism, while the second predicts social altruism mediation. Results supported the social altruism mediator model.
