Abstract

We conducted two experiments to investigate whether the presence of one’s pet dog or cat may decrease angry feelings and aggressive behaviors in the workplace. Having an image of one's pet dog decreased aggressive feelings and behaviors. Having an image of one's pet cat had no effect.
