U.S. Air Force Academy Cadets’ Willingness to Make Costly Sacrifices

Building off of previous work in Iraq and Spain with radical Islamic jihadists, we analyze United States Air Force Academy cadets’ willingness to make costly sacrifices. We explored cadets’ sacred values, group-identity fusion, and spiritual/physical formidability using field-based research methods. Results of this study will be discussed.
