An Empathy Training Intervention Increases Life Satisfaction and Relationship Quality for Chinese Adolescents and Their Mothers

Abstract

This study examines the impact of an empathy training intervention on mother-child relationship quality and general life satisfaction among Chinese adolescents and their mothers. The results suggest that for both adolescents and mothers, there are significant positive changes in mother-child relationship quality and general life satisfaction after training.
