Understanding Cultural Values Can Help Diversify Work Settings

Saturday, May 26, 2018 · San Francisco, CA

Oral · Social

Three speakers present research suggesting that differences in emotional values, communication style, and perceptions of discrimination can serve as barriers to entry and success for underrepresented ethnic and gender groups. We discuss ways in which these findings can be used to diversify and improve work settings in multicultural societies.
