The Quest for Personal Significance and the Appeal of Political Extremism
The symposium will present the most recent state of Quest for Significance Theory (Kruglanski et al., 2017), which describes the relationship between the fundamental desire to matter and political extremism. We will examine empirical evidence collected in diverse samples and cultural backgrounds and with regard to various political causes.
