The National Assessment of Educational Progress is the first nationally representative large-scale assessment to collect data from 4th and 8th graders on social-emotional constructs, including perseverance, need for cognition, achievement goals, and self-efficacy. Each presenter takes a deeper look into a specific constructs and its importance for predicting achievement.
