Novel Behavioral Interventions to Prevent the Return of Fear

Sunday, May 27, 2018 · San Francisco, CA

Oral · Clinical Science

Although exposure therapy is effective for anxiety disorders, fear may return after successful therapy. Recently, novel behavioral interventions have been developed that may facilitate extinction learning and prevent the return of fear. In this symposium, the speakers will present new experimental research that tested the effects of such interventions.
