Executive Dysfunction as a Transdiagnostic Risk for Psychopathology: Evidence From Dimensional Models

Friday, May 25, 2018 · San Francisco, CA

Oral · Clinical Science

Executive function deficits are associated with many prevalent psychopathologies, suggesting that executive dysfunction may be a risk factor for broad psychopathology dimensions. We present new research on links between executive dysfunction at multiple levels of analysis and transdiagnostic psychopathology dimensions, demonstrating promising new directions for identifying transdiagnostic risks for psychopathology.
