Measuring Treatment Engagement in Evidence-Based Therapies for Diverse Patient Populations

Problems with mental health treatment engagement are associated with poorer clinical outcomes, higher disability, and lower quality of life. There is an association between poorer engagement and minority and lower SES status. This symposium presents culturally informed approaches to operationalizing and measuring treatment engagement in among diverse and hard-to-reach populations.
