Novel Perspectives on Sensory Processing Sensitivity (High Sensitive Personality)

Friday, May 25, 2018 · San Francisco, CA

Oral · Personality/Emotion

This symposium integrates novel research findings on sensory processing sensitivity (SPS; also termed “high sensitive personality”), a trait thought to reflect increased responsivity to positive and negative environmental influences. Various fMRI findings in humans, molecular and physiological data derived from animal models, and future directions of the field are discussed.
