The Psychology of Change

This symposium highlights advances in theory, methods, and empirical work concerning the psychology of change–responses to the prospect of altering the status quo. Presenters will describe lab and field studies addressing the conditions necessary to motivate change and detail methods through which effective cultural or institutional reform can occur.
