Network Models and Factor Models: A Theoretical, Statistical, and Clinical Comparison

Network models and factor models are each used to explain psychological constructs and predict behavior. This symposium will compare and contrast these two very different types of models through a theoretical consideration of model complexity, a statistical consideration of model equivalence, and a clinical consideration of model interpretation.
