Current Perspectives on the Mechanisms and Consequences of Effort Mobilization
This symposium brings together recent research investigating underlying mechanisms and consequences of effort mobilization. Contributions focus on the relationship between subjective and physiological measures of effort, neural mechanisms of effort mobilization and cognitive control, and discussion on the robustness of ego depletion considered as reflecting negative consequences of effort exertion.
