The Search for the Holy Grail: Advances in Near-Term Suicide Risk Prediction

Despite 50+ years of research into suicide risk detection, most methods are no better than chance at predicting near-term suicide risk. This symposium will review the challenges of accurate suicide risk detection and will propose a novel model to uncover the "holy grail" of near-term suicide prediction and prevention.
