Exploring the Effectiveness of Comparisons for Helping Students Learn Challenging Math and Science Concepts

Saturday, May 26, 2018 · San Francisco, CA

Oral · Cognitive

Comparisons are ubiquitous in learning, yet there is not a strong research base to guide educators on how to use them effectively in their classrooms. This symposium highlights research that address this need by exploring how and under what conditions comparisons can help students learn math and science concepts.
