How does motivation change across development to help us reach our goals? As individuals mature from infancy through adulthood, the ability to integrate motivational cues with cognitive demands emerges to guide successful learning and goal directed behavior. This symposium will discuss how motivation differentially shapes cognition at distinct developmental stages.
