Increasing Police Mental Health Knowledge and Lowering Stigma Towards Individuals with Mental Illness

This study examined the mental health module provided to cadets in Oregon, to see if it increased cadet general knowledge about mental health symptoms, and therefore would reduce stigmatizing attitudes towards individuals with a mental illness. The results of this study were significant in both increase knowledge and reducing stigma.
