Abstract
Among 85 three- to five-year-old children experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis, behavioral measures of mastery motivation were associated with better parent-rated prosocial skills and less parent-rated hyperactivity, maladaptive emotional symptoms, and emotional lability, even when controlling for age and gender.
